Started with the sketch, I sprayed the deep background black. After that I stencilled the basic shape of Jimi with various shades of grey. At this stage I wanted to bring his facial features up so I knew where I stood with regards his head shape. Then I applied the (PURPLE) paint layer, which immediately made it pop. After that it was just a case of build up layers of detail on the face, scarf and magic. Big Jimi on a canvas 🎸
50 Limited Edition A2 Prints or A4 High Quality Print
For all my colour series canvases I produce 50 A2 limited edition print run. When they’re gone, they’re gone (that’s when your print goes up in value for you collectors out there).
My limited edition runs are high-quality, Hahnemuehle 310gsm German Etching prints. Produced on white art paper made from 100% alpha-cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine clearly defined felt structure. The unique surface texture adds a very special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendour with impressive three-dimensional effect and depth To top it all off, they are signed and hand-numbered by myself.
Rolled limited edition prints are dispatched first class, recorded delivery, in strong postal tubes and must be signed for upon receipt.
A4 High Quality Prints are sent first class in a hard backed envelope.
